*Kitten Adopt-a-thon every week

ADOPTIONS EVERY THURSDAY
Kitten season has arrived. We have several kittens ready now and many on the way.

Adoptions are every Thursday at PetCo Plaistow, 4-7 p.m.

Several cats and kittens (9 weeks and up) will be at the adoption event along with some super friendly young cats and older kittens available.

The cats and kittens are pre-neutered, tested and have shots up to date. The adoption fee is $175 for kittens and $125 for cats 6 months and older. Special needs cats such as the very shy are $75. Kittens under 12 weeks can only have their first distemper due to state law.

Some people ask why we charge so much for kittens. This is because due to the great spay/neuter efforts by non-profits in the area, kittens are now hard to come by.

We use the "profit" of about $50 from the $175-- to spay the mom and the rest of the colony or house hold. (ARMV vet bills average $3-5,000 per month, EVERY month with neuter, sick and injured!)

As an all-volunteer group, paying these bills every month is a challange. Please donate when you can to help us continue to help the animals in Merrimack Valley.
